Headquartered at the Dare County Regional Airport, Outer Banks Airlines is a private air charter and air tour company specializing in providing flights to and from the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Charlie Snow, a professional pilot and longtime resident of Roanoke Island, first started offering private air charters in 1997 and officially founded the company in 2007.
Formerly known as Outer Banks Air Charters, the company has grown in recent years by adding pilots and aircraft to its operation. Today, Outer Banks Airlines is pleased to serve a roster of recurring clients and passengers from all corners of the country.
In 2017, Outer Banks Airlines expanded its footprint yet again by acquiring the rights to become the exclusive management company of Pine Island Airport, a private airstrip located between Duck and Corolla. Pilots who wish to fly into or out of Pine Island Airport must contact Outer Banks Airlines prior to making arrangements. Complete details here.
